This on the left is a map of Amsterdam's region, where I live and work.

Watch out calling the Netherland "Holland" with a dutch, the real "Holland" is only around Amsterdam, and the country as a whole is more correctly referred as The Netherlands. It sounds like nitpicking, but is like calling "London" the whole UK.

The blue marked area is where I live: Zaandam, that is pronounced more or less like is written.

Other important cities in the area are (obviously) Amsterdam, well known for his CoffeeShop (where you don't drink coffee) and the Red Light District, Haarlem where is the Zaandvoort Race circuit and Puurmerend
